Phone won't charge? Check the port first.

Lint is the most common culprit. Here's how to tell.

If your cable wiggles, only charges at an angle, or doesn't click in, the port is probably packed with pocket lint.

Power the phone off and look inside with a flashlight. If you see debris, a wooden toothpick can gently loosen it. Never use metal or compressed air at close range.

Still not charging? Try a different cable and adapter. If neither helps, the port may be damaged — a common, quick repair we can usually do while you wait.
